Bio

We started Russian Mix (http://www.RussianMix.com ) as Vovan and Kollektiv (Galchonok, Arturas, Tokar) in 2002 with a series of super popular Russian dance parties organized at Manhattan clubs and bars that gathered hundreds of young Russians who appreciated a New York City (Manhattan) night scene and got together to socialize, dance, listen to great music. Since 2002, we organized more than 100 such parties and events. In April 2003, RussianMix.com was launched and grew quickly. In November 2005, the website underwent major redesign and re-structuring adding new cultural components to the mix in response to a growing need for an online source of cultural stimuli for young progressive Russian community.
